Admission Criteria

  1. Admission to elementary level classes will be based on ‘first come first serve basis in spirit of Right to Education Act.
  2. The combined family income not exceeding Rs. 3,50,000/- OR (Rupees 3.5 lakhs) per annum. The economic status and income details will be verified.
  3. The parameters for admission with the points allocated for each:
    4. Points: Maximum 100
    • Neighbourhood: 40
    • Girl Child: 20
    • A Student of an employee of TSRS/SRF Ltd. /SRFF /SEL: 20
    • Single parent: 10
    • Sibling (with a limit of two children per family): 10
  4. Students may be admitted to the school through the year depending on the vacancies arising in any given class.Subject to vacancies, applicants are called for an assessment and a meeting. Students will have to undergo an age appropriate assessment in English, Hindi and Mathematics to test their basic knowledge.

Application Parameters

  • Application forms are available at the school office.
  • The forms duly completed must be submitted to the school within a week of its issue.
  • All forms will be accompanied by the following.
  1. Proof of income and year/s of residence in Gurgaon
  2. Photocopy of proof of residence
  3. Photocopy of the birth certificate/or any other permissible government document
  4. School Leaving Certificate from previous school (if applicable)
  • Home visits may be conducted by the school to verify the socio/economic conditions of the candidates.
  • A final list will be drawn based on vacancies and the rest will be wait listed.
  • For children seeking admission to classes above Nursery will be required to submit previous year’s report card (as relevant).
  • A general Medical Examination will be conducted by the School Doctor for all selected candidates.
  • A student accepted into the SRF Vidyalaya must register with the school, immediately within the stipulated time / in the time frame given, or the student will lose his/her seat/admission.
  • Students who withdraw from the School during the academic year, if seek re- admission then the admission procedure will be followed afresh.
